Chris was born and raised in Saskatchewan before joining the Canadian Armed Forces. He is a graduate of the University of Regina and earned his MBA from the Royal Military College.

Through his time in the military, Chris gained a wealth of experience in strategic planning, leadership and project management. His military career took him across Canada, and he has led numerous operational missions.

After 25-years of service, Chris retired to Oak Bluff, MB on the outskirts of Winnipeg where he enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Colleen, two teenagers Samuel and Reese as well as their massive Golden Retriever, Rusty. Chris is an active volunteer, and he runs the race operations center for the Manitoba Marathon every Father’s Day.
